End of Story....
So no sooner had I posted my blog page then I get an email from the ACO saying that this year's race will be behind closed doors. I feel disappointed and deflated, but also strangely relieved that the uncertainty of it all, plus the concerns about travelling and potential quarantine on return have now been resolved.
It appears that all ticket holders will be contacted to allow them to change their bookings to the 2021 race (12th/13th June, as I understand it).
So, I'll be there 'in spirit'. I still intend to watch everything from home and yes, I plan to stay up all night for the race.....
