These are
galleries of ordinary photographs taken by an "ordinary" Le Mans spectator
(me, that is!) and were
taken only from those areas of the circuit to which
"ordinary" spectators have access.
Hence the occasional head in
shot (more often than not, a professional photographer getting in the way!) and,
particularly as the years go by, the encroachment of the scourge of the
amateur motor
racing photographer - the dreaded debris fencing.
In each
case, the galleries are accompanied by my own story of The Tourists Le
Mans trip that year.
