Not a story as such, but I
thought while I have the day off after Silverstone I'd put up some of the
photographs and video I took at the WEC meeting over the weekend. I didn't
take anything like as many photos as I normally do. The race was so
enthralling I found myself much more engrossed in it than usual and was less
inclined to spend the whole time with a viewfinder affixed to my face! So
here are a few shots from the weekend.
I had a great time,
particularly having had to miss this meeting last year, and enjoyed the company
of James, Tony, Allon (with son Jamie) and Tim again. We also bumped into
some old friends from Ten Tenths, including Simon, Tim, Ian, Margaret, Walter
and his friend Ton. It really was a great weekend and the weather was
pretty reasonable throughout (if you dressed up warm like I did on those
occasions when the wind made it's presence felt!).
The photos are in
chronological order through the weekend, but I haven't split them up into
sessions or races....
